Updates on 01-Apr-2023
The purpose of this revision is to introduce a change in the calculation of the Signal-to-noise ratio under Definitions. The revision indicates that the noise should be calculated on a window of at least 5 times the peak width at half height. Figures 6 and 7 were also revised to be consistent with the updated Signal-to-noise definition.

Following updation will be include in revision bulletin on 1-Dec-2023.
▲System Sensitivity
The signal-to-noise ratio is used to define the system sensitivity. The limit of quantitation (corresponding to a signal-to-noise ratio of 10) is equal to or less than the reporting threshold.
Peak Symmetry
Unless otherwise stated, in a test or assay, the symmetry factor (tailing factor) of the peak used for quantification is 0.8–1.8.
